Hi ,
I am thinking on buying coilovers in the US/HK and i was wondering if anyone know if the mkV gti suspension options will work on the mk2 Cupra as well.

to be specific i am looking at Tein Euro coilovers (mainly because they are cabin adjustable) or the bilstein pss10's.

anyone with experience ?

The part numbers for koni FSD are the same for Leon and GTI if thats any help.

Part numbers for eibach springs are different tho:shrug:

FSD are not the same.
cupra is 4001 and GTI is 4016.

anyhow , just orderd from the US koni coilovers , some RSB mounts and Quaife Diff.

funny how quaife is cheaper in the US. 780$ including ARP bolt set.

Fsd part No,s not the same?
Thats odd they are the same on Awesome GTi website:confused:

Lots of parts do fit the GTi and Cupra but you gotta be carefull as some dont !!

Look at koni website gti code is 4016 and cupra is 4001

However koni coilovers are both 10-15

its to do with differeing spring weights as axle weights differ very slightly.

IIRC the cupra has lighter wishbones & hubs to reduce the unsprung weight... they should be different

from what i have seen almost all of the adjustable suspension use the same part numbers for GTI's and Cupra.

For Example koni Coilovers , Bilstein PSS 9 or 10.

anyhow , i guess i will know really soon how it works once i get the koni's.
