Will my wheels fit ?

I bought a set of 4 original Audi R8 wheels :
8,5Jx19 ET 42 (all 4) without tyres
My wheels are :
7Jx17 ET 43 with 215/40/17 tyres
The tyres I could put on them are 225/35/19
I have to add a 5x100 to 5x112 adaptor that is 20 mm wide
The question : will these wheels fit my FR TSI without rubbing or touching the arches ?

mmmm 19's, don't know mate, don't think anyone has gone that big yet. Techie got the 18's and he has no problems even with it lowered socould not really tell you mate.

I'd like to be proven wrong but I'd say not a chance but you can get 15mm pcd convertors.

R8 alloys.. wow how much did they set you back! Your gonna have to go 35 or 30 profile to stand any chance of getting them on! It may ruin the car as well. I would rather go handling/speed over looks.

I think that with the Bilstein B16 coilovers the ride would have been ok
The are adjustable in comfort
I will have them on my car in a week or two ...
