btw ive a chance of getting these at a very decent price, new and boxed and will fit under my 17's so advice is appreciated.

main issue is carriers and matching the caliper offset with the disk offset that you finally go with....and of course the disk diameter also affects the carrier dimensions....then you need the right grade of bolts (not any old tat from B+Q)

cheers

rob for talks sake, im going to buy a new pair of discs, standard width, where or who could rustle us a pair of carriers (without having the callipers present) to mate up to a lc

hmm, LC you say.....Mk4 golf same ? 312mm disks ? my first port of call would be Rally Design, they sell the calipers and may already have a carrier for your application

These calipers are very popular in the US also so you should try a few of the forms there such as RPI:

Failing these avenues......its measure it up and make some time.....and if this is your daily driver best bet is to get a front hub/upright from a scrappy, use one of your new disks and take the whole lot to somewhere like BG developemnts in Birmingham and ask them (nicely) to make you some brakets.....but seeing as you have bought neither disks or calipers from them they most likel;y will tell you to sod off I suspect

Stu knows a few engineering types and Badger does also....but you will need to give them both something to work from

The Ibiza/golf brackets for 310 discs may work with 312 oe ones (hell only 1 mm out on the circumfrence) then all you'd have to do is shim it out to get the offset right.

they wont - the offsets are totally different, ibiza is like Mk2 golf, Mk3 and 4 are 13mm I think further outbord

im emailing raldes at the moment so ill see what happens. cheers
any more input is appreciated.
rob the lc is my daily and i cant have it off roaded for more than a day or so. its going to have to be a raldes fix or something local (brum is a bit far from here!!)

rob, if i ask momentummotorparts if they stock them for mark4 golf (no leon in yankland afaik) anniversary 1.8t 180bhp will that be enough info along with the actual application number of the callipers?
the vast knowledge of braking that i have, is limited to replacing my own pads and discs for pagids etc, ive never done an upgrade like this before.

should be providing the anniversary has 312's - I would tell them its for a UK spec Mk4 golf with 312's and 5 stud hubs

cheers, ill post up any progress i get. (btw 140-150 fora set of these with pads new is a decent price yea? ive seen the callipers selling for 99 quid each..

anyone thought of hi-spec?i know stu and rob(iirc) have had issues with them,"might" have something already made
