Wing Mirror Cover Broken!

Please could someone tell me how much a replacement wing mirror cover (teardrop style) will cost for my 54 plate LCR from a dealer?

Also wondered if they come pre painted or not, my LCR is Platinum Grey. As I need one replacement cover I have also been thinking it is a good opportunity to personalise my car a little and go for chrome covers, what do people think, stay with the original look or go for the bling mirror style covers?

Yeah, I am inclined to agree with you there John, I think I will just stick with the standard look. I notice from your siggy that you have a Forge DV, I am getting one of those fitted soon along with a Green panel filter and possibly a remap, did you notice any improvements to the drive of your LCR after fitting the uprated DV?

I would defo stick with the Platinum Grey mate, not into the chrome ones

About £15 for the primered cover, and £30 for the delaer to paint it for you.

I didn't notice much difference when I changed the DV to be honest. The Forge sounds a lot better and it 'might' be a bit smoother. If you're going the remap route then changing the DV makes sense and it's one less thing to go wrong.

I'm also thinking of getting a Green panel filter.

I decided to stick with the standard look guys and order a new wing mirror cover and get it painted. Unpainted, the dealer quoted me £20.

Good result, picked up my near side wing mirror cover from my local SEAT dealer and they only charged £9.07 for the unpainted part.

Just thought putting this update on would help anyone else who searches for, 'how much is a wing mirror cover?'.

Bought replacement cover from dealer few weeks ago (square type).
Dealer wants £80 to paint it though!, seems bit pricey?
