Wing Mirror Question

My car (Mk1 prefacelift 02 Model) has the square type wing mirrors at present.
I was thinking of upgrading to either the folding or teardrop type,are they a straight swap electrics wise only if non-folding type or is there an upgrade reqd(assume there must be a different switch to allow folding)

Straight swop but if you don't have elec folding a present i think you need to replace window motor that has the module built in,i know it can be done

If you buy the mirrors they will fit & plug in
