Wiper Stalk Removal Guide

If there isnt one does anyone know how to remove the wiper stalk?

I think its just a case of unbolting the blade and the motor from the tailgate and unplumbing the washer jet. think its quite simple, im looking to do mine over the weekend.

you have to remove the steering wheel. i ahd to have mine replaced on my 1.6 Sport, had it done through my work tho, so i have no idea how to remove the steering wheel, or disconnect the airbag

Easy.

Disconnect the battery to be safe. Remove the steering wheel (3 torx bolts one at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock). Airbag will pop up, just disconnect it by pulling the yellow wire out at the steering column end. You will then need to remove the big nut that holds the steering wheel onto the coloumn (you won't miss it). Then I think the wiper stalk pulls out, but be careful not to break any of the connection pins. Then slide on your new one and repeat the process backwards

If its a cupra, then its not got 3 torx bolts, it will be the stupid spring clip release things. There are 3 screws that hold the stalk to the column.
