Mine doesn't give a fault and it is just like that, cable tied out of the way.
 
You sure ,? If you bypass the n249 it will bring up a fault the only way to remove it is with the resistor as it tricks the car into thinking it's still connected , it won't bring up an engine light tho
 
thanks dan, i keep getting boost leak code, so im just trying to find out whats causing it. i have tried every thing, still no luck :(

But if you leave the valve electronically connected as Sam and I have, there ECU will not detect the bypass.?
 
I don't get fault code with mine? But it's lc if that's any different??
 
still getting limp mode every 5 mins, heres a list of every thing i have done.
all boost and vac hoses changed. no pcv, just catch tank.
new n75, new maf.
dump valve service kit.
i pressure tested the system and i have 0 leaks, 100% leak free.
im all out of ideas now guys :( this is driving me insane

Unplug MAF and run without it. Do you still get limp? 17705 should only be triggered by a deviation between MAP and MAF signals. Chances are you might need a new MAP sensor, did you meddle with it when fitting your FMIC?
 
Check the manifold??? Could be split ect I think that does it iirc from somewhere I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong
