ive got a 2000 (yr) toledo with the 2 button remote which dont work ive done everything but still nothing. ive just got a brand new 3 button vw golf remote fob. is there any way i could get this to work ? i dont care about the boot button i just want the lock/unlock to work and then i could get a new key bit done and change it over... thanks in advance

Assuming it was compatible. you'd at least have to get it coded up at the dealers or specialist garage.

I coded mine to my Ibiza myself

Ive got the 3 button version obviously the boot button doesnt do anything

and in there ,theres a guide that tells you how to code a flipkey


Obviously thats for the ibiza and prob wont work for the toledo,but worth a try
