can't you just make a new one ? or is that starting again with acheivements etc ?

just awaiting cable for mine before online so getting practice in for a few days

Yeah if you make a new one it's basically making a new profile so you would lose all your achievements, game saves etc. Unless there is some way of "un-xbox-live-ing" your profile, then signing up again, but that sounds like too much hassle for me!

nope only way is to pay the price.

when i signed up to xbox live it asked for an email address to link to so linked to my personal email account on hotmail and it automatically set my gamer tag to be same as user profile on there!

so im stuck with ajuk1980 instead of what i wanted!

You can change it but it will cost you 800 ms points
