Hi all,my son was returning from Scotland when he hit a rock in the road cracking the sump,losing all oil and he was towed back but after replacing the sump and a driveshaft it appears that the turbo has seized,he had the fault checked by a VW garage and they said it is seized due to no oil
is it easy to remove and replace the turbo? iknow i will need to remove exhaust manifold my son has gone back to Scotland on the train and i am trying to fix the car already spent £150 and rising
any help would be great.cheers.

cracked it i hope?

Many thanks for all replies to my thread,changed the turbo and car power is restored.
