Just a quickie,

Seen many recommendations for Vredestein and Goodyear F1's on here but both out of stock on camskill at the moment.

Anyone tried the Toyo PX4's (Proxes 4). I think these are meant to be a performance tyre.

I'll probably want to steer clear of the super sticky track tyres like the R1Rs or R888 but do want a good dry tyre thats not too much of a nightmare in the wet.

Not sure I want to pay premium for Michelins

Cheers

I have a set of Toyo PX4's on my FR (225 40 18). They have done about 24,000 miles and still have about 4 mm on the fronts and more on the rear. I have not been impressed from day 1 with their performance in the wet but as you can see they are lasting well so must be a hard tyre. I am now looking for another make of tyre to replace them. Think I will probably go for the norm which everybody recommends - Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics or Vredesteins.
