cool, i like amything that saves me some moulah. what would be the best side lights to go for to match the white of the HIDS?

cheers
click my sig there is a link in thee for the ones i use with pics.

also another reason not to use HIDs for main beems is many do not like to turned on/off alot, and particularly quikcly like if you 'flash' someone.

Never had a problem flashing with hids, they hold enough charge to flash people a few times.

I had them for about two years in high beam on my last car.

you really dont need full beams

the dipped more than make up for it and give excellent vision, more than enough on unlit dark lanes

just get the H7's IMO

I ran full beam HIDs through the winter but removed them due to the issue with charge time; think it depends on where you get them from; some charge quicker than others. I am now using 130w halogens in my main beam and HIDs in my dipped :)

that was going to be my next question... cheers

if you are going to run 100watt or more main beam bulbs you will want to install a secondary wiring loom straight to the battery to avoid melting the oem loom :)

I heard that the government are thinking of making HIDs illegal in standard headlight cases - as they were not designed to be used in refective setups, but were meant for directional setups only.

All cars that come with HIDs must be directional only and self-levelling I think...
