My reverse lights wouldn't work either. then found that the switch was gone. New one bought and fitted for £10.

For the moment, mine are:

You know you have a MK2 when none of your windows work anymore.
You know you have a MK2 when the exhaust you buy thats supposed to fit needs cutting and welding.
You know you have a MK2 when you spend all your time and money trying to fix it and none of that is good enough.

you know u have a mk2 ibiza when u start getting over possesive with whos looking at it just incase they give u the evil eye n something goes wrong the next day.

you know u have a mk2 ibiza when that problem that arised was because you was fixing another problem e.g. changing oil means rounding off sump bolt.
