I am 23, no no-claims and have a 53 plate LCR. I have 3 points for speeding and so does my wife who is also a named driver on the policy. My insurance is £860 for 10 months cover with Elephant.co.uk I had a good look around and that was the best i could get.

Its to do with postcode, if you live in Peckham the quote will be high if you live in the middle of the lake district it will be low:)

I turned 21 on march 1st

1yr NCB

Brought 52 LCR 2 weeks ago

Adrian Flux

Accident 2003 cost £200 to repair

£1465 fully comp with few add on's (legal cover, winscreen, stereo)

Elephant.co.uk are good, but the more miles you do the worse the quote gets.
Good if do 3K miles a yr but not if you do 12K plus

Try www.greenlight.co.uk :funk:

Good but needed 12 months on performance car for me and only had 1.2 corsa

BTW LCR is Group 17 on insurance files

yes but elephant dont ask you the mileage of the car when you get them
havent on two ive had insured with them
so "in theory" you can do unlimited miles and say you do 3k
i said i was doing 12k though-how honest

Perhaps not. Wait til you have an accident. Then they'll check your milage against your MOTs etc and decide your policy is void and not pay out coz you lied about the milage. :(
