diesels can show up to 7/8% bhp increase (in comparason to std fuel). Petrols are less significant however alot of reputable reviewers ('which?' for example) have done tests showing performance gains. shell v has a very good reputation for 'car care'.

from experience (with my petrol) with the more powerful engines like the cupras and frs there is a noticable increase. not enought to buy it JUST for the gain when you consider the price. in the time i've had mine i have only ever put cheapy stuff in my tank once and the rest of the time its been vpower all the way.

I had HIDs on my last car that i fitted and they were brilliant. they were the 35w ones, do the leons need 35 or 55w as i will get a set for the leon soon.

35 or 55 your choice both will work.

is there a certain way to fit them to the leon?

No, they are a simple replacement bulb, then wire the spade connectors to the bulb connector you removed.

Not sure if there is, they are simple plug and play apart from the 25mm hole needed.
Toledo lights are identical too the Leon

The bulbs are held in place by the spring clips that the original bulbs use.
You have to remove them totally ( dead easy when you look) so the wires can pass through the "spring holder"

Just had a look at the Cg lock as id never heard of them before. So do you lock it on your belt then it keeps the bottom strap held tightly?

sounds a bit expensive for one of those, i had one in my 106 hated them... had stupid little alan keys..

much prefered the magnetic one in my astra.
