Embarrassing LCR Question

Didnt know quite where to put this but still. I,ve had my car for 2 weeks now and only just got round to having a proper tinker in the engine. Well i was going to put a forge dv on the xmas list but today i hit a stump

Now this is the question is the picture showing a forge DV ?? if so is there anyway i can tel which it is

So I assume that is a pic of your engine, and you suspect that it may be a Forge already on there, which kinda means you don't need one for Xmas?
If so, then yes, I'm fairly certain that's a Forge item on there already mate.

This is the Forge DV-006...note the lines/grooves around the top section...looks similar

Well it deffo says forge on it lol just wondering as most people say the 007 is best would the 006 be a problem ?

most go for the 007 but a 006 should be fine the 006 also has allen keys holding the top on and not a screw thread like the 007

006 is fine mate, definitely no need to change it

006 is no problem I run one on my Ibiza. The only advantage of the 007 is it is slightly smaller.

Peter is correct the 006 is just larger and less easy to package. I have one on my LCR. Was going to buy a 007 until I posted a similar thread to yourself and got feedback that the 006 is fine to use on the LCR. I worked out which one mine was from www.forgemotoorsport.co.uk. You can have something different for your car for christmas now...
