what with the seat frame  maybe as it is adjustable at the top if you adjust it so it is preesing really tight in the inside edges of the boot it COULD make a diffrence im gonna save my pennys for sumink else tho

rash i understand what your saying, but do you think i would put something on my car just for looks? ive been after this type of brace for ages as ive only known positive changes to the car that they are fitted to. but if it dosent work you couls have a closet rail in your boot for small peoples shirts!

fair do's quess you dont no till you try but from the sounds of the way its fitted it seems pritty flimsy and i honestly cant see it making any diffrence !IMO! but maybe if every1 that gets 1 in future says it has made good gains then maybe i could dig in my pocket if the struts top mounts bolted inside the boot id be more confident on it makinfg a diffrence as the brace will be directly on the struts but il wait and and hear for all your opinions so far all i have heard is good i just cant belive it yet need more evidence

fair point only thing is the interior trim on the mk4 dosent allow access to the actual top mounts like on the front but basic idea is the pannels that the shock atatch to will flex under corneing to bracing the pannels as such should still have a strong effect on the suspension and reducing movement

you cpuld cut a U shaped cutout and flap it under the brace and if youy do decide for some reason you donbt want it or you come to sell the car you remove the brace and just replace the u shape back the furr will hide the cut and will be undetectable

As i stated before, there is no force up the damper, the forces are on the springs, i doubt there will be anything to gain with that brace at all.

Just how much flex do you think there is, you wouldnt even be able to see it
