re Rs4 ver Rs6 - Now thats a tough one, I like your RS6's, but like the dark grey on rs4's - Having a simular problem with WombleI what to fit....

One of the reasons I bought a sport was because of the RS4's, but having now got RS6's on there and mine being a silver A2 there's no comparison. The Dolphin Grey A2 does look good in the flesh though

Hmm understand... :)
So go on explain your avatar image.... your on the other side of the carrige way I can see that..... and BRAKING hard?!

Que mrcoyote: :ban:

It was taken on the way back from the 'Ring last year. Given my car has a 1.4 TDI (at the time circa 80bhp), it was carrying 2 people and 10 days luggage, 2 bikes and 6 crates of German beer.. It was LOW and as Ken never let's me forget, it really struggled! So much infact that I drove a fair distance tucked up behind a CTR in our convoy - helped drag me a long a little! I had to push it so hard that my foot was to the floor most of the way to Calais and it burnt all the engine oil by the time I got home!

Oh dear..!

Feck! - All I can say is respect to the wee engine for getting you home.. I remember taking both of mine to Brussels last year, both performed well above local expectations

Its still a great image though.. ;)

TBH it was because the convoy was travelling at 'excessive' speed, the 3-pot had done very well indeed for the 1500 miles beforehand (without the added weight of beer!) - I was very impressed. For a 3 cylinder with a cc of 1393, average calculated mpg of over 60 and a lightweight car, it performs very well indeed, especially with the 100 or so bhp it now has. Plus there's the innovation, build quality and decent handling - IMO a very underrated car.

think it looks alright.

my dad had one for a few years from new and they aint bad motors...apart from those pesky front door pillars! talk about blocking your view!

i quite like the bodykit, would look better lowered a bit IMO. always had a little soft spot for the a2's, not quite sure why!!

like the dark grey a2 aswell, nice colour
