Gave the car a good going over in work this afternoon as we had no faults to attend,used Meguiars clay kit after a good wash.First time I've used anything like that cos I usually just wash and polish,and was impressed with the results.

very nice! Im about to use megs clay kit tomorrow (Weather permitting) for the first time. Plenty of lube is the secret apparently (Ive not said that before :X) Did it take all the tar spots off?

It took a fair amount of them off,a bit more rubbing(fnarr fnarr)would probably have done the lot of them,but it was'nt far off the end of shift.

As I said for once the railway was running smoothly in our area,so took full advantage of the last 3 hours of my 12 hour shift-just hope there were no senior management going by on any trains...shame the inside's like a bomb site but thats the fun of having an 18-month old kid.

I think the same, a few tar spots left, but got the worst of them off, I think if id spent another hour on her, theyd all be gone!! Not happy with the bit behind the door handles though. Theyre scratched to hell and I dont know what to do. Ill take a piccy later, n see if anyones got any suggestions! cheers!
