Those wheels look very good. Really nice touch. There was a black LCR in the Pictures forum with something similar done, but slightly more extreme, and that looks good.

Thanks Rob.. am just trying to make the car blend a bit more, hence tints and debadge. am happy with them tho. still suit the car, but dnt look to 'bling'. mind u the car was on axle stands for 4 days!! had to use my mountain bike to get to work

They were taken with my moby (apologies for quality) as I sold my digi camera before Christmas. I will borrow one and take some better shots.
Let me know what you would like to do. Two of them are virtually immaculate. The other two have slight curb damage and the final two have more curb damage but not serious.

That was the reason I got a platinum LCR as the two black ones I had seen looked a nightmare! One of them you could tell had spent its life going through a car wash - why would someone do that to a car. I won't even let the dealer wash mine when it goes in for services etc.
I enjoy washing the car, only exercise I get at the moment!
Thanks mate... from what i remember, i think the fronts are 35% and the rears are 30%. thats what i think any way. all i no is the fronts where 1 stage darker even tho they proberly dnt look that dark!! i didnt wont that blocky look u see on some cars, so they did them so they blend in more.

Theres been lots of talk about shadow chrome/black chrome wheels on the Platinum LCRs but still very few pics from different angles/distances etc.
I'm thinking of getting the standard wheels refurbed and repainted and would love to see some decent pics of what others have done.

I will try and take some better pics of mine (black chrome) - will have to wash the car first though!!! The original pic I posted didn't come out too well but they look far better in person.
