Not sure it willbe the best of moves as the R32's have never been the quickest of Golfs. I mean you gonna need to spend 15k for a goodun, i would personallly be traking down a cheap mk5 Golf GTi for that price. A lot higher spec on the inside and can be a lot quicker overall than the R32. Plus the Newer shape Mk5 R32 is so much better than the original it will have a sight effect on th original's values in the long term.

ive read its the other way around mk4 being more sort after in the r32 form, if i wanted pure speed i would keep mine and get bigger turbo and so on. mk5 gti i dont like interior looks like deck chair seats, prices have been holding well for last year as ive kept an eye on them. always wanted this car for its sound and looks

well its up for sale but no interest at all! insurance on the r32 is steep, same as im paying this year on mine had one quote at £855. but not sure if thats correct yet. found out tax is the same so no change there, and mpg isnt going to get much less so i dont think its gonna cost much more to run. ok tyres are more disks and pads and so on. just there isnt that many of them about

GAz, you will be mad not to put it back to standard,, would take a weekend and will net you a grand and i would be doing that before you go for part ex figures. thy don't like knowing the cars been played with. Part ex i would aim for £7k

im budgeting for 8k from my car weather thats selling it as it is or px with mods taken off and sold, i toted up mods being sold at low prices and came up weith 1.5k but the good thing is my car still looks standard so dealer wont know really.

you wont make any extra money on the car with mods on it if anything you will get less if i where you id do what ant said spend a weekend on stipping the mods off and replacing with standard bits give it a proper polish and clean inside and sell it privatly and then sell bit off
