Having thought about it for some time now and with warrenty nearing an end I have decided that i need to get some skirts to make the car look at least a little more more interested. Anyone know of a nice set I can get and likely costing? how difficult would they be to fit and to change tyre ???

only one choice in my opinion, MS design, i sear by them, pricey but well worth it, theres 2 on the released on to the road thanks to me......lol

theres a set of nice m3/Bravus styled (??) ones sat in my shed that would possibly fit a mk4.. (will have to chack later when missus brings the m4 back ;) ) that are 'surplus to requirements' at the moment...

only problem for me is that it just that it looks quite basic and its hard to justify spending money on something that doesnt look much more than standard.... how does it all fit anyway, is there loads of drilling involved?

ms design ones are bonded, i got them from my dealer at the time, second time around i sourced direct from Austria ( easy to do when your mums Austrian) i can't a speaker da lingo.

Yeah they do look standard, and thats the beauty of them, but they are nice and chunky, and if i had a pound for everytime someone asked me about them, then i'd be about 167 quid richer now.

Aye, think mine was originally from Austria or Germany , and they still sell on the 'Bay for well over a 100 Quid.. im only looking for half that amount..

any pics of the skirts mate? have they already been primed? i looked online and they were for a mark 2 ibiza ??

How much are u looking to spend?

not really sure what the going rates are for kits, but as i only need the skirts then i would have thought it would be a fair bit lower? then i will need to get someone to spray and fit them for me as im not very good at cars!

Hi Ant FR,

How much did those sideskirts cost and where did you buy them from they look very nice and i really want some now haha!!!

on the red car, i got them from my SEAT dealer in Maidstone they supplied and fitted them for 450

on the grey car i got them from , bugger can't remember the exact name, something like turez autosports in Graz Austria, that worked out much better at 2500 euros ( so about 182 quid including delivery)

450 does sound like alot was that painted? i'm 100% sure i will have some of those sideskirts within the next few months look awesome. Good find Ant!!!

180 doesnt sound to bad, its just the fact of buying paint, getting someone to spray it then to fit it..

all adds up...
