Alright Fella's,

Bought my Leon from that dealership and the photo's don't do the car justice. Looks great in the flesh so to speak!!!!! By the way, highly recommend Rusty's dealership, much better than the very unhelpful people at Advantage SEAT Lincoln!!!!!!!!

Certainly wouldn't say the kit looks cheap:lol:

Had nothing but great feedback from anybody who's seen mine. Can't speak for any other colour but I think it looks very slick/sporty in red.

Worse part for me is the spoiler but like I said - cheap looking, it aint.

Each to their own before anybody comments on this but I had to pop into the dealers at the weekend and stood next to an FR in the same colour - looked very bland through my eyes.

Just been looking on Autotrader at Cupras and saw this for sale.

what do people think.

i think;

£21k for a bisic cupra with half a body kit is anything but cheap.

also for a car with 1 mile on the clock the calipers have plenty of brake dust on and the skirts are manky.

wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

First time I´ve seen a Leon fitted with only the front bumber and the side-skirts from the Aerokit!

Personally I´m not the biggest fan of the Aerokit... but must say, that I think the car looks kind of "half done" without the rear bumber fitted aswell!

Its all down to personal choice but I think the aero kit looks lame, I think the FR/Cupra look great as they are, I have just added the skirts as extra and they look amazing.

sorry it does look cheap, I've seen the kit up close and personal, it devalues an FR or Cupra. At 34 years of age I wouldn't be comfortable driving a car with that Aero Kit on it. The FR and CUPRA stand out on the road as they are.

i agree i think im too 'old' for the aero kit too (same age as freddytdi :) ). i wouldnt be too comfortable with the way it stands out, too much unwanted attention for my liking.

i have seen a few leons with aero kits and i think it looks good, but its definatly not for me. i do however love the subtlety of the side skirts though as mentioned by seadragon, and would love to have those on our car (but will cost me an extra 200 on insurance as well as the cost of getting them fitted!). the Cupra/FR car looks good enough without any intervention in my opinion :)

Quite like the Aero kit, but also like the Cupra/FR kit. Hobins have a white Leon in at the moment and it looks stunning with the Aero kit on!

Sorry it doesn't look cheap, I see the car up close and personal everytime I get in and out of it:lol:

It is going to be the case that, with the exception of some fair people on here that we are all going to 'stick up' for the car we bought. I could have spent a further £500 and bought a standard FR from the dealer but I personally fancied the looks of the Ref Sport Aero over the extra 30bhp and a few bits. I do very little motorway miles so don't need the cruise control, air con is good enough for me and hardly ever have anybody in the back (so to speak) so not bothered bout rear electric windows. I fancy the electric folding mirrors though - that must be ace;)

Wouldn't it be boring if we all liked the same things:D

agree, it would be boring if we all agreed. Problem I found with the Ref Sport is the lack of climite control. Those big knobs don;t do it for me.

I do love the alloys you get with the kit.

Good spot with the brake dust and sideskirts:headhurt:

That would be cause its got more than 1 mile on the clock!!
I go past it every day in my yellow beast and must say it does look good. Unless im mistaken and they have sold one and this is a second one its also had a meeting with a copper!!
