Nope, that's a fairly new addition to the plan as well....
handling was OK anyway, but it needs less weight to cover the extra doors & metal.

certainly liking the idea of 'not' cutting fuel on over-run (clearly not for the MOT)
taking it's time because of weather problems & working too damned hard/long days - just don't have the focus when I get home, showered, eaten - and it's 8.30pm

Well once my brakes are sorted on Sunday
and I get an MOT on the old gal, I'll be looking for excuses to take her for a spin... Maybe to Northampton for a bit of wiring
well now I've got a right collection of parts to fit, I think the weather might actually mean I can do some after school now just need to get home a bit earlier.....

) Front Hubs, Steering rack, a whole lot of 'removing' thanks to a donation from F2-stu of some pulley's & belts meaning I can loose the Aircon pump, the power steering pump & just have the alternator up front. Should make it more reliable if bits aren't there.
then I just need a clear thinking session to complete the wiring loom (with my newly borrowed relay box) and finally start this mofo.

Glad you mananged to coble somthing out of the bits I given back from RPM, made no sense in peices and wasn't convinced I got evrything needed.
Wiring loom is complete... I bottled going straight from the ECU to the car - so I've borrowed a relay board, and wired to that instead - much much easier
Now I just need to make my loom from the relay board to the ECU (which I'll use my old Wiring loom to make) and apply some power to the whole lot.
was getting a bit warm out there, so tidied up without taking pics - needless to say it's a bit messy - but all the wire will be tidied up with some conduit to make it pretty & out of harms way.

furhter update, the ECU is in, wired up with the exception of the 02 sensor
I need to just complete the ignition switching, and starter and all should be well (i have no thick wire to do the mains supply)
I got serial comms up, calibrated the throttle etc
Fuel pump runs when it's meant to (controlled by ECU) so all is well.....
I took a flyer on what wires ran to which injector, as I couldn't open up the fuel rail to look - but they're all on bullet connections anyway so it's an easy swap.

I must admit I did turn it over, but it didn't catch.... and i melted some power supply wires too...
argh, it'll be fine - I just need to use the right wires (or just check that I'm not connecting it to earth by accident....
only went off road on good friday, so that's not that long ago.
