I need a bit of help with my clutch. I know its a common problem and I have done a search but nothing seems to be idiot proof (Me being the idiot
).
I have a 2005 FR Tdi 150 which has been taken up to 185/190 with a remap and green panel filter. There was always a slight clutch slip after the remap which until now I have got used to and fed the power in after 2000/2500rpm. This weekend though the problem has got worse and now slips in every gear and probably wont be long until it gives up. It has lasted 9 mths though.
I have got a local garage that I have used before and trust to fit the clutch so I need to order the clutch (which needs to be a bit tasty as I dont want it to happen again) and get it delivered.
My questions are - 1. What do I need? Clutch or clutch and flywheel. Is a uprated clutch with new oem flywheel ok or is it better to get the two from the same manafacturer?
2. How much are they?
3. Any other things I need to know?
