id like to say no, ive not done it myself, but im sure the sensor is moulded into the expansino tank as the whole unit gets replaced if done under warranty. so im pretty sure its done in-situ. hope theres not too much stuff to scrape off!

think u just pick it out . i may just remove the whoel thing, scrub the day lights out of it and then refit with some coolant

It's only a small amount of scale, not huge chunks. Don't worry about it, it'll be fine.

Had this today. Just turned the ignition off. then on. did it again. so turn ignition off then on.. and it stoped

I work in IT so turn it off and on is all i know.

Strangely mine has not done it yet. Last year it started much earlier than this.

Had a coil pack go tonight from cold.
