Passenger Door wont open (internally)

I cant for some reason open the passenger door using the internal handle. I just had my windows tinted so maybe the cables came undone? Anybody have any pictures etc or a guide even? on how to remove the door cards etc.

I can pull handle and hear a small click near the latch but it doesnt feel strong enough to open the door

Check out the door seals leaking thread. Very good guides on there for both the door car and a link to a VW site that details taking the whole door apart. Basically, the handle cover comes off and you remove two large screws then lift the door car up. Very easy.

Does your button pop up when you pull the leaver? Is there tension on the interior leaver and can you open it from the outside?

Probably just unhooked the cable to the leaver in which case is a very easy reattachment.

funny thing is my lcr doesnt have door pins dont know if this is standard or not

LCR's don't have door pins.

If the tinter's had the door cards off, it's very easy to forget to hook the cable back into the back of the door pull...

yea i think this is what happened. it seems its connected as i hear the click at the catch end but not enough stregnth to release it like theres no tension. Il have to remove it tomorrow and have a look.

dont want to scare you but just had to change the cable to mine as it snapped , but if the door skins have been off the more than likely just forgot to put it back on
