I read on the Corrado forum that an M45 was near on useless on a 1.8. I had a G60 and was considering it as I can get M45s for next to nothing.

i could be wrong, but it might be worth checking out!

if you buy an audi S2 one, yopu have to cut one of the inlets off, and it bolts straight on then, the real question is could you hack up a rare part like an S2 inlet manifold?

M45 should be fine, I considered it on mine before I decided on the M62, mostly for reliabilty

Thats the spirit! Do they mount the same? And what are M62s off? My guess is Merc Kompressor but again I could be wrong!

merc kompressors are slightly different the M62 is on the AMG models, where the kompressor is a slightly modified merc charger. They do something different. But essentially work the same

i cant imagine the brackets bieng much mroe different. but my charger is an S-Works charger, so it'll be better than having an M62 on there anyway
