I think it just depends on the light whether or not they are darker or not.

Sold the inner bits to a guy in Finland!

Can the rear lights be taken apart....inner parts sprayed black....then reseal them?

I was having a look at one of my rear lights when i took it off the car to clean it, i didn't want to force it appart or anything. just intersted to know if it's possible.

I might even buy a scrap rear light and give it ago..

Well I will have to get some facelift ones and they I will butcher the old ones and see if I can mod the insides a bit! Thanks for help people!!

I'd rather have two clear lenses than one red one clear to be honest.

Breaks up the colouring a bit... I could fit a red bulb so I could still use it as a foglamp!

o and my car is worse than that chris its not been washed since the first week I bought it (2 month ago). Got laods of black oil like crap on the drive, hoping this is dirt like.

Why?!? I'll have your Cupra lights (I think i already asked you and you were keeping them for when you sell the car?) and if i had money.

I think the "lexus" ones look crap, especially on a grey car. The red ones break up the colour nicely.

Yeah I'm keeping mine for when I sell it. Aren't there any Cupras or FRs being broken on eBay?

I wouldn't mind putting a clear fog light on mine but I have more important priorities at the minute (doing up my house!)

Not sure about that, I had a clear fog lens on my 206 with a red bulb and it failed the MOT, as the red wasn't dark enough. Had to borrow my friends standard foglight to pass.

Suppose it might be worth hanging onto the old red part for MOT time.
