to be honest the ATP one has gone through some changes and was a piece of piss to fit and could have been done in a day if we had not had to put the temp sensor mount in it when they do this from the US it is a job that could be done in a day it was harder getting the old one off compared to getting the new one on.
like i have said before its only hard if you dont know what your doing or have a bad fitter, only **** thing is we have found out need to do big end bearings as making small noise so this is being done before we take it off the ramps.

People do tend to judge ATP on some of their early almost prototype products, but they do change things for the better, its just that they don't shout about it when they do.
CC are tied to JBS, so its fair enough they don't want to get involved with competitors products.

Shame to hear about the big end mate, but glad the mapping has worked out for the best and a decent cooler to sweeten the deal[B)]

Give us a shout if we can be of any help fella.

ATP's quality on several parts has been shocking to see... distorted v-band adaptors, obviously wrong but sold to customers.. That sort of thing has to put people off.
Their manifolds often crack on 1.8t (but then so do other peoples manifolds)

You can see the curb appeal of these but...........

You need your big end bearings doing! Crazy! First time I’ve seen someone say that on here! How many miles has she done?

er where do we start
a jbs manifold and downpipe
new conrods
new valves
uprated pistons
air filter
only use the FMIC they reccomend

seemed a bit excesive as not chasing BHP just want it bit more fun and better turbo for playiing later on

Im not really that suprised by this request, as you will find many tuners find a good package ad 'Highly' recomend it.
This approach is pretty well much standard practise in other tuning fields, such as Scoobies and many of the highest powered Fords... You want to go with x tuner, you will have to go with x tuners recomendations :p

Must admit, the odd one does slip through the net with them, but thats the problem of having the quantity of sales that they do.

Thats where we come in, we remove the 'chance' and other possible problems of importing products so you the customer can buy in confidence:)

Was hoping for a custom code on my car. It'll be a total 1 off custom setup when its finished so will CC turn me away?

Not so sure as yours is a true totally custom build not just putting a different turbo on. You can only ask and I dont see why they shouldnt when they do not do a kit or parts for your car etc.

Hi

Just to make this clear :D

Custom-Code will provide a mapping service for ANY setup/hardware .

From time to time we do have to advise/turn people away/down , this is generally due to poor fitment wrongly spec'd components or wanting the impossible . Its just not possible for us to provide a quality remap if the installation or hardware is not capable .

However we are more than pleased to provide Custom-Code for the eliminator range ,or any other turbo kit for that matter.

Anyone needing more information on any C-C product Please feel free to email or call us : )
