Haha no worries, have you thought about fitting a smaller battery?

I fitted one and the only draw back is that if you leave it for a 8-10days especially in winter it goes flat. So i just disconnect it or have it on trickle charge.

I was thinkin of a smaller battery but i just dont drive it so i'd be forever disconnecting it or charging it up.

Its a maybe for the future tho. Your setup looks good tho.

What gauge wire you using? Fused at all?

I was gonna get some quick release clamps for it as theyre pretty cheap. I'm using 4awg and no fuses.

At the moment its 100 quid for a battery that i gotta spend elsewhere. :(

Stage 1 is hard! Worse than vibratechniks race ones. The difference in vibation between 0.5 and 1 is amazing but the engine movement difference between them seems minimal. For a daily drive stage 1 is too hard with the vibration and noise. I mean it was shaking some parts of my dash out bad!

VT race ones hardly shake at all, but they are engineered rubber mounts not lumps of plastic after all so should do for the money.

you get what you pay for.

Baz where did you get battery and brackets? Part No. 's please

SEARCH! you lazy s**ts:p
There's quite a few threads about weight loss on here;)

The battery is a Hawker Oddessy PC680. Both the battery and bracket were purchased from ebay. This is my second one as they don't like the cold or to be left alone for too long. 5-10 days in the middle of winter.

Ebay was the only place i could find the bracket but the battery can be found in loads of motorsport/bike shops but ebay was the cheapest last time i looked.

Cheers baz, i use my car everyday so shouldnt have any problems then eh.

Battery is now mounted in an alloy tray in the boot. 4awg wire run to the front to a distribution block one to the started motor and one to the fuse box, which is now fixed directly behind the headlight.

Hopefully i should have my alloy tube delivered today so i can move the filter.

I've started cleaning all the bodywork etc.. in the engine bay as well, wow theres some baked on **** on the chasis legs, anyone reccomend anything to clean it?

I'll take some pics later.
