I'm using engine and machine cleaner and its taking ages! Need some super strong stuff, might try some petrol or thinners.

Hows about AG Intensive Tar Remover!

I've found this useful for detailing in and around the engine bay and wheel arches!

that isnt baked on stuff phil...its cavity wax. they spry it inside doors and hard to rear places to protect it

Oh right, its all painted underneath tho. I'm gonna remove it anyway, not like i drive it anyway now. lol.

Not decided on the wiring in the boot yet nothing is done up or earthed properly, so the routing of the cable might change to tidy it up a little.

Also, Megs Endurance Tyre Gel is awesome one hoses.

I never thought of tyre gel. I have been using all kinds on mine and it never seems to last 5 minutes! Meg's tyre gel last for weeks outside so will be just as good inside..

Also, I think it will really suit a black TIP!

The wiring is all mine.

No point in changing the TIP, the turbo will be binned at some point so i'm not wasting 100+ on a TIP and elbow unless i get one free. lol.


I'm telling you now, megs endurance gel is the best thing i've ever put near my engine bay.

Just need to clean it further now, get all the baked on stuff off.

Liking the relocation phil ive been looking at the same battery trays on ebay for when i do mine, going to mount mine where the changer is tho as ive ditched mine lol. Will seek your advice when im doing mine ....gutted lol

I was lookin at putting it where the changer used to be as well, but i wanted the battery down low and central, it does fit there tho.

Well mine and i think others are on the left it the space behind the lights.
Think others are the same.

Changers are normally bolted to the left hand side rear arch. Ideal place for me as i have my amps on the other side so will fit an be balance out ok

surely there's no point thinking about balancing weight, unless you move the steering wheel and seat to the middle
