more progress, my radiator fan arrived today, and more silicon last week, but thought i'd show it all in one go

this is the current setup, clearly the charger inlet isnt going to work at all, it's actually touching the cowling all the time. No way was anything going on it like this:

Thats alrite 4 you lol ur using the 1.8 n im using the 2.0, cant really get away with alot lol annoyin!

Just two ABF ones will do the trick. these can be obtained from GSF ECP or the dealer in metal. Will bring the compression static ratio to around 9.1:1. Been running this on my Turbo'd ABF with the occasional 18psi for a 8000miles and counting. I am sure there is more robustness and combustion stability from installing correct pistons with the valve pockets and dish ready made. But the stacked or twin gasket thing does work quite well.

I would strongly recommend notching out the slam panel where that boost hose pops up between the battery and the panel itself - engine movement will cuase that to chafe and split over time.

Looking good tho, is it just the one Spal fan you got on there?

Good piont. I might add that this is not a final hardware release. The air ailter for instance is in a horrible position.
There is one fan. But this again will be monitored for engine cooling robustness during long idle phases while calibrating.

i'm at kingston uni itself, i live in ham, between richmond and kingston, and go to Penryhn Road campus. Finished now tho, but still up there

i think the target figure is 220bhp, anything over that is a bonus tbh

the air filter is an easy job, just need some 2.5" stainless tubing, i have the bends already, so just a case of cutting an fitting

when money allows i'll get 2 9" blower fans and put them on the front of the radiator possibly, much much more space around the inlet then

I love the whine of a supercharger . Always puts a massive smile on my face when i hear one.

Prefer the sound of a supercharger to a turbocharger/dump valve, although I still love the sound a dump valve.
