deffo going to check out the lights on e-bay, and my uncle owns ted johnsons so fitting would be free!

Aero rear wiper fitted

Picked up a mk6 polo aero rear wiper from my local VW garage. Cost me £20.

It was a real pain getting the old wiper off, and getting the new one to fit but overall i think it looks mucho better now.:)

Light bulb upgrade

Upgraded my front lightbulbs and sidelights.

Got the Phillips blue vision from www.powerbulbs.com .Paid £17 for them with free sidelights and free delivery!

Sidelights were quite fiddly to get in and out, but i found that removing the front indicator bulb gave me more room to get my fingers in.

The bulbs are a lot brighter and whiter (especially sidelights). I had the Seat 55% more light bulbs in before.

New Cupra Handbrake Cover

Got myself a cupra handbrake cover from the dealers. Cost me £10.

Great little mod. Easy to fit. I just used a knife to pull the little clip on the underside of the original cover away and the whole thing came off as one. Then was just a case of sliding the new one on.

loving what you've done so far mate. You happy with those new bulbs then? Thinking about some for mine, as standard ones on the mk3 are rubbish. They for dipped beam?

Cheers mate,

Yeah happy with the new bulbs, so much brighter and whiter. It was hard to take a picture to give it justice. Yeah i think there just for the dipped beam

tbh honest mate, would have been better spending twice as much on headlights and bought hids for £40, and how comes the handbrake cover is only£10

I don't really know much about HID's so i thought id just opt for a simple bulb swap. Funds are tight as im a student.

The handbrake cover was cheap because my uncle has something to do with Ted Johnsons stealers :p

Glad to see you got the aero wiper fitting nice! :D

They are a pain the arse but do surprising transform the back end really quite a lot!

Do you have the part number for the Cupra handbrake cover? That looks quite sexy....;)

What do you have to do to get the old handbrake cover off?

Wiper was a real pain in the arse to get fitting right! Thanks for your help mate!

Sorry I haven't got a part number for the handbrake cover. I PM'd Tristan at Ted Johnsons. He ordered me one in. I got a discount with it so i don't know the complete price is.

Was simple to fit. Theres a little clip thing on the underside of the original cover. I just put a knife under the clip and prised it away a little and pulled the handbrake. It all came off as one. Then was just a case of sliding the new one on.

Looks and feels much better!
