Since the Prosport RR day I had the full exhaust made to 3" which certainly made a big difference and also fitted the PCV mod which allows the car to hold another 2psi in certain conditions..

Also Regal have BIG fans when dyno testing the car, and they run the bonnet open, makes a big difference!!

As I said to you on the Prosport day the intake has never been that hot before, after a drive on the road its very cool to the touch, because of the heat tape and the CAI that I run..

If you check out the graph, the dashed line is the car with the K04 turbo, pretty nice curve really..

Aye Jonny just like they do at Awesome, but I still think 350 plus is an ambitious figure on a K04 even on an S3. Like I say I'd like to of compared it against other known cars on the same RR on the same day. Much as we did at Prosport.

A run on a rolling road without any comparison to anything else isn't really conclusive to me. But I know it goes well and produces good figures, I just have a healthy skepticism when it comes to figures on RR's especially when its plugging a product on the tuners own equipment. :)

Same reason I travelled about with mine, and ran at other places independent of Awesome, but always with other people to compare against.

Were like that here I'm afraid we like to research and evaluate stuff and not just take the tuners word for it. :D

Yours is a mega car though, and no doubts it goes really well. [B)]

He's only been pm'ing people with the vid it seems, rather than posting for all to see (presume not your private road being used or something)

also regal's dyno is 2WD only i think, so they would have ran the S3 in 2WD mode.

I wonder if they've added a bit of NOS to get those figures ;)

I don't know if they have improved over the years, but you need to be extremely carefull dealing with these people.

Why is that then. Not fair to say that about them without giving a valid reason as to why you feel that way!

I agree completely, and to be honest im not too worried even if the car is only making 400bhp, the car feels very quick, cant even compare to the K04, and thats what im happy about! :)

The difference between the K04 car and the RS/S car is +59bhp and +38ft/lbs but that only tells half the story, the power and torque increase throughout the whole rev range is what really makes the difference to the cars performance..

I dont want to post the video because last time I did something similiar I got a load of s**t of people about it..

Im happy at the end of the day and thats what I see is the most important thing!

Zboyd - When there is another indipendant dyno test ill be getting myself there for a back to back with other tuned cars as we did on the Prosport day:)

Post it Jonny, I'm one of the chiefs here. So if I say its ok, its ok. ;)

People are interested, and in the same vane they can be sceptical too. But your happy with the results and figures aside (which in truth do not really matter that much) its a big turbo kit and were interested to see it in action.

Totally up to you though. :)

Am I the only one a tad confused as to why there is an S3 posting in the Leon MK2 part of the site, when anything I post which is slightly off topic to the Leon seems to get moved to the basement of the site?
