I ordered one for a Civic rather than S2000 and it is actually slightly shorter and cost slightly less. Got it straight from the Honda dealers cost me £17. When he asked me for a registration number for getting the part number I gave him one off the 04 plate type r they had outside on the forecourt.
The part no. is 39151-56A-E02 The price has gone up and is now £20-63 inc vat and most dealers keep a couple on the shelf. But they normally special order the S2000 ones.

Fits spot on and makes the car look a lot better. [B)]

So the s2000 or civic areial will fit straight onto any leon, is there any difference in signal quality/strength?

Question: Does the areial base have a amp built into it, does a aftermarket headunit need a adapter to feed it 12v?. I have fitted a JVC unit but did not connect a live feed to it - it works but I have noticed the quality kind of changing as I drive through the town. I can't compare it to the OEM headunit radio as it never had one when I bought it.

I got an in-line aerial signal amplifier/booster from my local audio place and this makes the radio signal a lot stronger as with all VAG cars (it seems) they have an aerial booster in the original HU.

The Halfords website says a Leon needs this product

I understood all this did is feed 12v to a amp which is already in the areial base.

if you know someone you dont like and has a honda s2000 nick it from them  joking, on a more serious note honda garge or ebay your best bet;)
