Pj & Dave - Theres a Yellow spring inside And its just been serviced around 3months ago..if that has owt todo with anything..

Bill-how do you mean pressure? How can i test it?

Phil- yeah thats just as boost is building..pulled 170+ g/s on my last log..

Also theres a uprated forge one on Ed38 for 40quid posted it worth it or not?
And Were can i check for Boost leaks? As ive Removed the N112 & N249 valve with resistors and Removed my Sai/Egr System the same way...So to check for boost leaks would be My hole Fmic System? as the dv hose and acutators have been replaced...

4psi? Is this the standard actuator? Should be a minimum of 7psi I would have thought with your set up. Im sure Bill can suggest a suitable amount of pretension to be applied.

Tonight we double checked the N75 and it was still exactly the same, so we tried winding the actuator out just for a test to see if it made a difference for the boost, when we did this if Danny boots it through 1st, 2nd and 3rd it doesn't boost above 11psi as it has been doing but when building the boost up from 2,000rpm in 3rd it was hitting around 18/19psi and then dropping and holding 15psi without going into limp mode.

We did a log of 118 to check the w/g once we had wound the actuator out and this is what it showed.
Just so you know the actuator has been wound back to how it was, it was purely a test, just to see if the turbo could actually give the boost

not having much luck with this thing really are we, been trying to think what it could be, but just cant

hope you get it sorted soon mate, then get on with fitting that hybrid :D

lol just done some searching and speaking to philw...I checked my Fmic hoses BUT i was looking for a hole not a split which expands due to boost/heat...DUH!!!

So saturday am gonna completly strip my FMIC system and see what i can find...Am more that certon its a boost leak as am hearing some weird noise which i can discribe

Right Got up early This morning so i could do a few bits on the car..Ive Checked all my hoses And as you now there fine..

So ive moved on to the FMIC side of things as it has to be that...So luckly i can just undo it at each end and Pop it through so i have one complete Pipe...Tbh i wasnt happy with it as the pictures will show.
When i fitted the Fmic many moons ago i tighten up the Jubliee By had Eg a Flat head screw Driver.so ive got my self a small rachet to do them up super tight and i couldnt belive how loose they were..

Also a mate of mine also told me to use low Module Clear silicone around the joins to help it abit...He works for chorley street garage which builds cosworths ect

Here are the Before pictures..but ive know moved the Jubliee clips abit closer to the end of the pipe and done it up super tight so they all sit snug around the pipes ect not like before.....Am just waiting for the sealant to dry then il fit them and see if its worked...

The Join in question

Sealant Joins all are like this now if it matters or not

hows they are now all done up supper F***ing tight:

hasnt made any Difference...:(

So has to be Tip or actuator now...

But part of me is thinging it aint the tip....As its a boost leak code am getting...Whiich is past the turbo...

am stuck for ideas now

Could it be my actuator...

Some one said that my W/G is opening early is this true? Should i wind my actutor out or could i take the actutor or my old k03 and put it on to my k03s turbo??

EDIT:

I done some fathing about tonight and looked at my k03 actuator which was around 15threads and my k03s was less than that so i just tested it and moved my k03s one to the same and am getting 1st gear 12-14psi and holding, 2nd gear 16psi and holding and 3rd and 4th am hitting 19psi and holding 16-17psi and the exhaust note sounds Nice aswell got that sucky blowy sound..

that hose is just too big.
filling the gap with silicon is... well... a bodge.. (cosworth would'nt dream of this fella, just some blokes working on cossy engines does'nt make that a good thing to do)

why cant you get the right size of hose or pipe?
