only issue I have with the cupra is that from behind it can be confused as a FR and isnt overly sporty.

from behind it can be mistaken for any leon.. so can the FR. But get behind it and you can see the Cupra badging so those in the know understand what it is... if you dont know what it is then your in for some fun finding out lol.

Still much better than a 1.4 ibiza right? Oh....you have one....oh my.

Im getting my cupra soon. You should see how much insurance I had to pay for the "pleasure" of insuring my extremly boring ibiza. [:@] I could have bought another ibiza with my south east london premiums. Want normal non bodykit front, but the back end I have plans for to make it stand out.

Just as the K1 can be confused for the Reference Sport

Yeah apart from the center exhaust.

Glad your getting a Cupra :)

The courtesy ar was a 1.4 sport ibiza...and its horrible. But as said, i didnt expect it to be a leon cupra lol.

Getting it back about lunch time tommrow :)

lol thats exactly the car I have. Did you notice the engine hesitation when attempting to pull off quickly at low revs. Foot down, nothing happens for a couple secs and then it goes. Catched me out when I first got it at roundabouts :headhurt:

Only good time I get a smile on my face in the beeza is going sideways around wet roundabouts lol :cartman: Oh and the fact that the police always assume the car costs alot more than it did.

Is yours remapped?

what post code m8?

se28.

Rated F I believe. !st year premium on the beeza at 18 as a new driver set me back 2800 pounds. Does my head in because my mates who live 10 mins down the road with a Dartford post code pay a hell of a lot less than me.

Same goes for the essex boy racers! They pay so much less yet surely they are a high risk! Most people my age in my area cant afford to drive, I think it must be a case of the high number of uninsured drivers im surrunded by pushing premiums so high.

Woooooooooooooooooooo

Got my car back, looks awesome!

Il get some pics up in the morning, dark now lol.

When you take it to dealers for work done, do they do a mini service on it? I say this bcuz the whole car seems a lot tighter, the hand brake is alot stiffer seems like it was when i 1st picked it up...maybe my imagination lol.

Had my alloys refurbed aswell as i kerbed them all in the first few weeks of owning the car lol, just wasnt used to how wide it was... They look spot on now, cost me £35 a wheel and its a real top notch job.

What on earth do they clean it with? The car is so bloody shiny lol :)

Pics in morning! Spoiler and skirts!

Eibach Sportlines mate. Think it has settled a bit more since those pics were taken. Subtle drop, and no bother with clearance anywhere. Quite happy with them :)

Eibach stuff is about to go up in price here due to the weak Pound vs the Euro - up by 17.5% I believe or thereabouts. That would make the springs about £150 or thereabouts. Labour wise, shop about - a good mechanic will do it in about an hour or so. I paid £40 to have mine done :)

They are different for sure. I actually had the other Eibach springs on first, and they were harder than the sport line springs and OEM springs, but sat in between OEM springs and Sportline springs height wise.

The Sportlines are good in that they give a nice stance and they are not hard, but handling is still very good with them.

Given the choice of the three, I would still choose the Sportlines :)

Not sure if that helps?

yeah that helps, but which out of the 3 do you think would be best for the track? The hardest eibachs I would presume?

Sportlines mate. Having said that if I was tracking the car (which I have no plans to do) I would probably fit a full kit including braces, uprated bushes, uprated dampers etc.

sounds good u know where i can pick some up from ?

I know JKM do them, but other places like Awesome will probably do them too mate :)

The thing I would like to add to mine is the splitter from that mystery body kit here;

When I saw my car next to another hot hatch last night, I decided mine looks a little plain........

Just where to find it, and then to figure out how to get it for a reasonable price :)
