i got a split-r and had it on hybrid for a while. i'm joining the fully recirc band wagon now. its much smoother when the atmospheric nozzle is plugged.

I might try mine like that, as i have the plug too.

have to admit it is alot smoother and there is more pull with a full recirce.. the pticchhh noise does your head in after a bit anyway.. external wastegate with a screamer pipe is where the real noise is at..

the k04 turbos have a in built wastegate .. most big turbo boys use external wastegates.. its basicly a boost controller i belive so when it gets to a certain preassure it throws air down a seprate pipe into the exhaust.. it bolts onto the manifold.. hoochs mk3 build thread shows how it sits.

O yeah is that you, how you doin mate, i just rang up top boss, (fitz), he sed hel do the screamer pipe, i just need to buy the turbo manifold and give it him. going to have a look now
