Hi folks - could any of you kind people give me a ball park figure as to how much my car is worth?:help:

2004 Leon Cupra R 225
Black
29 000 miles
3 owners
Tax July 09
Mot June 09
FSH
Usual Cupra R spec

Mods wise its got Forge 007 dv, green panel filter, Milltek cat back exhaust and some SFS hoses.

Thanks amigos. :funk:

for a similar spec car i paid around 10-11k from a dealer in april, it would have been around 8-9k private; now take into account the recent fall in second hand values, 6-7k as a rough figure? you'd most likely get more selling the mods separately and the car as standard too.

having a look about on pistonheads, 8k is about what people are asking - not sure how many are selling at the moment though

Not alot of interest tbh, probably the wrong time of year. Had a little bit of interest in mine, but nothing concrete.

can't believe your selling mate - what are you going to drive to the btcc? ;)

Well, not wishing to steal your thread, but I'm about to sell my black 2001 Cupra (180bhp) with 171,000 miles.
Absolutley immaculate with a full SEAT service history and no mods.
The thing is, you can pay for a valuation with Glass's online guide, or Parkers & 'What Car?' valuation guides, but they all come back with different prices.
In my case, Glass's was £2,680, What Car? £2,380 and Parker's £1,650. All fed the same information, and based on a private sale in top condition.
My local Dealer advises £1,500.
Take your pick!!

So I too am curious what people think my car's true value is too.

Good luck with your sale :)

Thanks for all your input guys:) - really dont want to sell it, fantastic car, but, its the only way I can raise the money for a house deposit at the moment - I have a feeling it will take a long time to sell though!

Probably the Leon in the way its going. Im lucky enough to have a company car so transport is not a problem. Plus the fact that im keeping a close eye on the plummeting prices of 2003/2004 RS6's. Could be an interesting year.
