ive ben thinking i should weigh my cat in as its just sat in the garage gathering dust.ive got no plans of using it again and im keeping my car untill it dies as cant afford a new 1 at the mo.would it be worth selling or should i justscrap it?
 
local metal merchants is best bet as that's where the scrappers take em eventually anyway

not sure on current prices but at one time the local gypsy was collecting em at £30 a go
 
ill go have a look this afty then.mite aswell get suat for it its been in the garage 3 n a half years so mite aswell get some petrol money for it.

i got 90 sheets for my lcr cat a while back, weigh it in, you can refuse if you dont like the price they offer
 
don't all cats have some platinum in them?

i think i remember reading there was a crime wave up north, loads of cars cats were nicked... they'd be surprised if they tried mine hahah

Im sure that was just a street urban myth that got out of hand :lol:
 
Yea every Cat has platinum in it as it reacts with the carbon from the exhaust an makes oxogen i think, I would not weigh it in yet the prices have fallen out of the market for scrap :(
