Very nice look ...:) What kind of alloys are these ...??? They might be lighter than the OEM ones...???

Is it 8 x 18 or different? The width of the rim, I mean.
I will soon buy the same alloys, only white colour. Thanks!

From what has been discussed in here, it seems quite much. Why don't you gor for 8J Width? Do you need wider tyres? like 235, 245 etc. Moreover, you gain some weight advantages by going to 8J instead of 8.5. And yes, the dealers recommend min ET42 or ET45. I have friends with ET35, but the wheels are 17" (Leon, not Leon Cupra). Cheers!!!

Many thanks for fast response. The reason was only because those ones are one the shelf now...

I will ask what offsets are available with 8" at 5x112.

Minimun 42 meaning no lower than that as recomended by dealer?

Mike, go to 1010tires.com and check the calculator.
The width is also important when talking about ET. For instance, the ET51 (standard) applies for standard alloy 7.5J (Orion) in one way and to 8.J in a different one. If you go to 8.5J from 7.5J, this means about 25 mm (evenly distributed interior12.5/exterior12.5). So be careful with the calculation, do not consider again ET51 when your J goes up, because the risk is to foul the arches (interior). Cheers!

If you go with ET35 Mike, you will have clearance issues I think and they are probably gonna weigh the same as the OEM wheels. I noticed a wee bit of difference with the lighter wheels on mine if thats worth anything.

19" CH with the wide offset will look real nice though :)

I just bought the pro race 1.2, had to wait for my next milestone before I got them due to insurance reasons.
I'm pretty sure the guy at the manufacturers said I needed ET42? I went for that offset with the 18x8 pcd 112 5studs.

If anyone knows that this will definately not fit please tell me as the ones I ordered are custom and made from scratch and take 3 weeks till they arrive!!!

Yeah 35 was a mistake.. He had them on the shelf but cause its a German outfit he can get them in teo days anyway. When I said Cupra think he heard cooper :s Crazy Dutch B*****Ds lol.

Re checked when I phoned back and told me ET44 :D Makes more sense. Would like 8 x 19" but sticking with 18's...

Hi does anyone have any pics of these wheels on a black cupra, thinking of gettin some just want to see what they look like on the car cheers;)
