Never thought about it sounding like Darth Vadar, but I suppose it does when increasing speed at just below boost going up a hill![]()
next to nothing i'd say in real life, worth it for the sound though.

So once I start doing performance mods you reckon I should leave the intake as one of the last upgrades?
Hows your car running btw, got it sorted?
im kinda at this stage now really. i have the full milltek, well cat back is in the post and revo stg1, just dont know what to do next.
should i get stage 2 uprgrade when full milltek gets fitted providing just using the standard air intake or will i need a cai like dbilas can i just run stage 1 with the milltek and still get the gains. cheers
Fuel pump next, uprate intercooler then add intake and hey presto stage 2 +
PS - Be sure to uprate the gearbox mount.
cheers bud any idea where to get the gearbox mount from.
so can i run stg2 with just milltek or is it best to keep it at stg 1 thanks again.
Assuming you are running Revo, Stage 2 requires intake upgrade and exhaust. However there is not much difference in performance between stage 1 and stage 2 with the same mods. You will see power delivery move further up the revs. You would be best advised to do the fuel pump if you are going stage 2 though in my opinion to stop it leaning out. And with it getting warmer, an intercooler is gonna help you too. At that point you are pretty well stage 2+ spec - about £1k from where you are now if you go with Autotech pump internals, dbilas flowmaster and an S3 intercooler.
You can buy gearbox mounts from most resellers - I know you can get them from JKM. They basically stop wheelhop which you will get a lot more of with increased power. Bear in mind the bhp increase from stock to stage 1 Revo is the same as from stage 1 Revo to Stage 2+ Revo.
