The 007P & Spliter R are both good.

The 007 is good yeh if you like it quiet and the only good thing about the Split R is........well i tried to think of something but came back with nothing, oh actually one good thing is that you can pick them up dirt cheap cos people cant wait to get rid of them as soon as they buy them.

i think that would look gash with the rubber ones when i done mine i used alloy pipe and a alloy conector to join it to the maf silicone is easyer to do imo...

i do believe you had one of these at some point if im not mistaken :p:
but the 007 has to be said is a good simple design that works well...

cone filter HERE FC-07003(want to go bling lol)

45` bend HERE

the hose will join right onto the maf.YES or NO?

then since the cone filter is 70mm female and so is the hose ill need a connector.YES or NO?like a small alloy tube?70mm external diameter?

or will they connect ok?

will i need any more hose etc for it to be close to the wing?as ive seen pics with blue silicon hose either side of the maf sensor

thanks

ah see the search button is a good tool when used...and yes the silicone hose before the maf is the TIP...wouldnt of said there was much point in a heat sheild TBH you could make one like the jabba kit has but gains would be very small IMO and its more for a show piece...

I had a split R not a bad bit of kit.

But I went back to my 007P only becuase it was louder through my air filter than the split R was for some reason.

Any way this thread subject was bound to ruffle up some feathers :D
