Strut Brace, functional or just show?

hi everyone, im new to the site and id like to say its nice to see a group of people dedicated to an awsome brand of automotive amazment.

my question is,
is the Seat own brand, momo strut brace for the mk4 just for show or does it have any impact on the handling of the car?
im thinking if fitting one to smarten up the engine bay abit but if it helps handling too then its nice to know
also has anyone fitted mud flaps to there ibiza?? if so could you please post a picture as im not sure if it will look right on mine

The strut brace was one of my first mods to my Ibiza FR. It certainly makes the front of the car "feel" more stable and solid, but then it could be that I was looking for a difference if you see what I mean. They do look good too!

you probably will see more of a difference on your FR then my RS but hey

i have a seat one i noticed a diffrance i all ways say they must do something other wisa they would not sell them or make them and now i am after a back one
and when i lowered it i still think the strut brace felt beter when it was not lowered

i cant see a strut brace affecting your warranty mate, if it does, just take it off when you take it to the dealership. it'll only be like 6 bolts that you just whip off

The seat sport strut brace only used 2 out of the 3 strut bolts on each side

fair does, wasnt sure if it was different on the mk 4's thats all

no it doesn't affect warranty in any form and can be fitted yourself
