" oh and the alarm is naff (tried the other day)....you can have a party in there before the sensors pick up any movement..."

Yeah think there is something wrong with yours, tested mine the other day and it didn't take much to set it off. Granted it takes a few seconds after first locking before the sensors kick in.

1.the fitment of a front and rear strut brace cures dash rattles
2. oil takes 12 minutes to heat up in summer and 16 in winter
3. all beeps can be turned off by vag com..
4. being very very suprised at the stopping power of them brembos if you really have to emergency stop...

im drawing at straws now....im sure someone wrote a thread about this years ago...on this site...

If you unlock your car and don't open it within 30 seconds or so it locks its self again.
The OEM ride eight is 2mm higher at the passengers side as these cars were designed to be left hand drive.

Is that why I think mine looks ever so slightly lopsided when viewed from behind?

a couple more...

1. its impossible to heal and toe in a lcr
2. you always have 10 miles in the tank when it reaches zero

I can heel and toe in mine with standard lcr pedals. What foot wear are you wearing?

It says heel and toe but you don't really with your heel, that's just your pivot point. With the ball of your right foot you press the brake and with the the outer part of the foot you press the accelerator while at the same time pressing the clutch with your left foot. The idea is that while you brake the engine revs drop and when you go to a lower gear (3rd to 2nd say) the engine needs to rev higher to match the wheel speed. When you change gear if you don't rev match the engine then you experience a jerking motion when engaging the clutch again, the heel and toe helps minimise this.

That the sensor for the low windscreen washer scares the crap out of you, being honest that could possbly be due to the previous car was a fiat stilo, and when ever the dash kicked off you knew it was gonna cost you!

Your not alone, i've found this too but was well chuffed when i noticed it just needed water. Theres no need to have such a loud beep for such a small thing. I think Seat done it for a laugh.:cartman:
If you hold down both buttons on your key for a couple of seconds the car locks, windows go up and mirrors fold in.

Only joking!!!!!:clown::bleh:

If its mapped to 270 it shows the new scirocco up from the lights even if you let them have a head start!! Lovely car though!

I found out the other day that if I rotate the mirror knob to point downwards it folds the mirrors in for you!

You all probably know that already but I have only just bought it....
