Right, bought my 51 plate Cupra about 2 weeks ago and yesterday was the first properly rainy day since then. Problem is that when I got home last night and parked up (with water in the car on the floor front and back by the passenger side doors) the alarm kept going off randomly. In the end I just de-activated it and left it like that overnight (nice safe area).
This morning it was dry and I was out working on the car (fixing the damn rear washer pipe in the tailgate), alarmed the car after that and all was fine, including the indicators flashing once. Now I've just got in after being caught in a heavy shower and the alarm seems primed (pilot light by door lock flashing) but the indicators wont flash.
Anyone got any ideas? Does anyone know where the switches that tell the car the doors/bonnet/boot are closed are, I can't find any.
Also, a bit unrelated I think, yesterday morning the turbo stopped working, a quick reboot (stopped and turned the car off completely for 30 seconds) fixed it and it seems OK since. Anyone else had similar?
Cheers all.
