Bloodyhell the word polished appeared and about an hour later you appear. Must be getting slow in your old age. :cartman:

TBH mate I dont think it would be worth it, they would need to be sandblasted before they can be polished, and you would be without the car for atleast a week, might be better off rubbing them down and spraying them with chrome spray paint and then laquire them.
The guy that ask'd me if I could them had already had them sandblasted

ok cool , i have a company who do plating any way so if i wanted to go that route i would probably let them deal with the hassle i might speak to a mate who does powder coating and see my options

done a little mod yesterday , i took the under bonnet liner as its pretty thick and the engine seems to run very hot and in this weather figure it may help with heat dicplacement and u can hear the recirc valve and induction better . anyone else done this and how have u got on with it .????

also has anyone replaced there two fans at in the engine bay , looking at doing mine as they dont run at slow speed apparently its a firly common problem with those fans but seat want 700 quid to supply and fit them wich i thinks a bit of a piss take as as far as im aware i can buy the new fans for about80 quid each and as far as im aware there plug and play jobies there not viscouse fans

well i hope you all like i reallllly do , i think the rim is a real nice touch as all the stiching is red in the interior , plus i have always liked these rims so here the pics.

also the car had been jacked up for quite a while so i think the car still a little high as it had only been down off the jack 5 mins .

amd remap, lowering probably on coilovers will have to call in a few favours to get them , 6 interior pieces in carbon fibre that have already been snt off . goes up to a custom engine bay builder for an overhaul including battery covers engine cover bootle covers or custom billit lids havent decide yet , re paint the brembos, then im not sure ...oh and of course silicone hoses

CMD the owner chris done my entire custom bay on the beemer with laser cut welded and powder coated parts as well as 3d image parts and he now does carbon custom bits to order me and him have been mates for years so i luckly can go to him with wacky ideas and when he has the time we will put together a show bay and a everday bay so if i choose to go the show route again can put some outragouse bits ( most of with will prob be completelty impractical to run everyday ) and everyday nice bits wich will look good at meets and are ideal fo9r everyday use ie covers and lid tops ect ect
