The North
Well after looking at loads of cars on t'internet with vinyl wrapped roofs Im totally wanting to do this to mine.

Anybody know of a reputable company who does it in the north east?

let me know how much it is bud. would like the top of mine and the back plastic bumper in gloss black, like the wings

flippin heck mate dont envy you at all. i did my front grill and made the bumper look like the cupra. but no way would i attempt that!!

Seriously its not that bad at all!!

Spray everything in soapy water, float it on, squegee out and hairdryer the edges to dry it!! Took about 2 hours.

Then i wrapped the spoiler to!

This is also on my to do list,£200 for the roof does seem steep, you could get it painted for that....

I used Raccoon in Wakefield for my front bumper wrap and whilst not the cheapest, they do a top quality job. If they make a mistake, the film is binned and they start again, at their cost then. Highly recommended.

The quote I got for the gloss black roof was similar, though this does include the top of the boot lid panel as well, wrapped then to top of rear window line. I have seen some whole car wraps there also, so they have the experience.

Raccoon wrapped a whole car for me that I've loaned to Cartridge World, it's wrapped just like the BTCC Leon's and looks fantastic. In my opinion there's no substitute for a job done well by a professional, no bubbles, no blade marks in the paint/lacquer, the vinyl is guaranteed by 3M and they'll also remove for you if get fed up with it. The biggest advantages over painting are that there are no mask lines and it can easilly be returned to original.
