took me about 10 mins ;) theyre easy to do, but alot of people just over-do em to have a major effect and it just ruins the picture imo.. plus some pictures work better than others..

yeah i was thinking that. while i was fiddling around i discovered a 'merge to HDR' option in the file menu, you used that?or is photomatrix better?

After seeing this thread I thought i'd go and have a go myself. I really like the surreal effect you can get on the environment around the car/subject. The one in my garden shows this off the most I think.
The one is very overworked but I love the 'chrome' look it gives.
I havent quite got the hang of keeping the camera still yet though...
Hope you like...

G8RVN - these are great....love the one of the rear end of the Ibiza (the second one).
What program you using.....I got loads of different free HDR software, but cant get that effect....:censored:

Jimcupra- I'm using photomatix 2.7

im really just learning the ropes at the minute, instead of taking just 3 photos i did 12 going up in 0.3 to 2 plus and minus. I know this is more likely to blur because there is more chance for movement but it seems to give decent results.

Admittedly i shopped the dents out after i had done the hdr merge but all of the effects are pure photomatix

Just started mucking about on some of this software.

Here is the outcome....
